Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU”)
For revitalization of Global Youth Leader Training Project
Human Resources Development Service of Korea (hereinafter the "HRD Korea"), World Trade Center of Georgia (hereinafter the 'WTCG"), will mutually cooperate for successful business of Republic of Korea government affairs' "Global Youth Leader Training for oversees labor exchange project", and State of Georgia economic developments.
1. Purpose: To create mutual benefit between Georgia and Korea economically.
I. To perform successful business cooperation for establishing "Global Youth Leader Training Program for overseas labor exchange project", and to create employment opportunity and development for Georgia residents.
II. To accommodate numerous jobs creation for Georgian by doing number 1-Ⅰ, so that Georgia will entertain the economic development.
2 Service: "HRD Korea" and 'WTCG" will work together for the following matters,
I. HRD Korea will support and train the number of 10,000 in specialty occupation with national labor shortage in Georgia. The types of occupation shall be, but not be limited to registered nurses, dental hygiene, denture, computer technician, chefs (Chinese, Japanese, and Korean), florist, child care teacher, Korean Language teacher, and Taekwondo teacher. HRD Korea is able to select, manage and evaluate training institutions and support education tuition In accordance with HRD Korea's training guidelines by 2016. HRD Korea will assist Korea business exchange activities for Georgia economic development.
II. WTCG will consult for the attaining qualified work field, qualification, and procedure of U.S. employment Visa.
3. Human Resource Development Plan:
Both parties will use their best endeavors to help the development of the two organizations to make detailed plan from 2010 to 2016 (10,000 workers), and shall have additional plan if necessary.
4. Confidentiality:
The parties respect their confidentiality policy and business cooperation, and will not provide mutual business information without the consent
5. Implementation: "HRD Korea" and "WTCG" will make the necessary arrangements to ensure satisfactory implementation. The parties agree to communicate systematically to exchange business-related information and data on accomplishments with regard to this MOU
6. Duration: This MOU shall be valid upon signature, or seal by both parties and until 2016, on the understanding that either party is at liberty to terminate it at any time, after furnishing to the other party a written notice of termination one (1) month in advance of the date on which the party furnishing such notice wishes to have the MOU terminated, otherwise this MOU shall extended one year increment automatically.
7. Modification:
The present MOU may be modified and/or amended at any time by the signatories, by mutual written MOU (through exchange of letter).
8. Compliance:
This MOU is not intended to create a legal and binding obligation to expend funds or resources by either party, but is a statement of bona fide intent of the Parties. It sets forth the entire understanding of the Parties in respect of the collaboration considered.
9. Signatory:
In witness hereof, the Parties hereto have signed this MOU in 2 original copies in English on the date(s) herein bellow indicated.
